Chapter 1: The journey begins
Have you ever wondered what really happens after death? What if I told you that a woman returned from brain death with direct revelations from Jesus about what we will do in heaven? Now listen to this account. My name is Lisa Smith. I am 33 years old and live in San Diego, California on September 15th. I died in my own kitchen. It was a Wednesday morning just like any other. I worked as a social worker for the county's child services department, helping families in difficult situations.
I had always been a person of faith. I attended a small community church on Sundays. Though I admit my relationship with God had its ups and downs. Between a stressful job, bills to pay, and the exhaustion of daily life, my spiritual life often took a backseat. That morning, I was preparing breakfast before heading to work. I remember waking up feeling slightly dizzy, but I brushed it off thinking it was just fatigue while waiting for the water for my tea to boil.
I felt a wave of vertigo so intense that I had to steady myself against the counter. I tried to take a deep breath, but the sensation only worsened. The room began to spin, my legs gave way, and I lost my balance completely. As I fell, I struck my head hard against the corner of the kitchen island, and then darkness. What happened next still moves me when I recounted.
Chapter 2: Crossing into the light
Suddenly, the darkness gave way to a strange brightness. It was like waking up from a confused dream. I realized I was floating near the kitchen ceiling. Looking down, I saw my own body lying on the floor with a pool of blood forming around my head. My cell phone had fallen just inches from my outstretched hand. I tried to scream for help, but no sound came out. That was when I realized I wasn't breathing.
There was no heartbeat. I was dead, yet somehow still conscious. The scene was surreal. I tried to touch my body, but my hands passed right through it as if I were made of air. I felt no fear, which was strange, only a profound curiosity and a serenity I had never experienced before. That was when I noticed the kitchen around me beginning to lose its sharpness as if it were dissolving. I felt a gentle current pulling me away from my body, my home, and my life.
I found myself drawn toward what appeared to be a tunnel of light. It wasn't frightening. It was like being carried along by a warm, welcoming current. The light grew more intense. Yet, it didn't hurt my eyes. It was the purest, most loving light I had ever seen. Radiant, yet gentle. As I neared the end of the tunnel, I realized I wasn't alone. A presence was waiting there. A figure emerged from the light, walking toward

me with steady, calm steps. He was a tall man with a dark complexion, dark wavy hair that fell to his shoulders and deep brown eyes that seemed to hold all the wisdom of the universe. He was wearing a a simple white tunic that seemed to emit a soft glow. I knew without a doubt that I was standing before Jesus, not the Jesus of church paintings, European depictions, and a distant expression. This Jesus was real, alive, and radiant with Middle Eastern features and a smile that made my whole being vibrate with emotion.
"Lisa," he said, and my name on his lips sounded like a melody. "I was waiting for you. I wanted to answer, but the words wouldn't come. Only tears, not of sadness, but of a joy so intense it overflowed. It was like reuniting with someone you had always known and loved, but had forgotten until that very moment. "I have something to show you," he said, extending his hand toward me. I noticed a small scar on his palm.
And that detail made everything seem even more real. Those were the hands that had been nailed to the cross, now extended to me in a gesture of love. When I touched his hand, the scenery around us changed completely. We were standing at top a

hill covered in grass of an impossible green, more vivid than any color I had ever seen on Earth. The sky above wasn't just blue, but a composition of colors flowing like a celestial ocean. Vibrantly colored flowers dotted the landscape, some in shades I could never name. This is just a glimpse of what awaits you, Jesus said softly. I want you to see what you will actually do here. The scene shifted again, and we were in a vast garden, larger than any park I had ever visited.
People of all ages were tending to the plants, not as a chore, but with overflowing joy. An elderly man was planting what looked like sunflower seeds. And to my surprise, as soon as he placed them in the soil, they sprouted instantly and grew into golden flowers that emitted a soft melody like a musical hum. "Here you will be gardeners," Jesus explained with a smile. "Not as a chore, but for the joy of it.
Every seed you plant will bloom into something more beautiful than you could imagine. Every flower you water will sing back to you in return. But I can barely keep the plants in my apartment alive, I confessed, thinking of the cacti. The only plants that ever survived my care, Jesus laughed, a sound that seemed to make even the flowers lean toward him. Your body will be perfect here, Lisa. Strong, full of energy, and never tired.
The limitations you knew on Earth no longer exist. The scene shifted again, and we found ourselves inside a magnificent building with walls that seemed made of a blend of crystal and gold, shifting and shimmering as if alive. Everywhere people were creating art in various forms, paintings, sculptures, writing, and architecture. You will be artists, Jesus said, noting my look of wonder. Everyone holds a creativity within them that was never fully realized on earth.
Here you will paint with colors that do not exist in your world. You will write stories that make people laugh, cry, and understand the truth in new ways. I watched, fascinated, as a woman painted on a canvas taller than herself. She used no brushes. The paints flowed directly from her fingers in swirling patterns that kept moving even after she stopped touching them. I never had any artistic talent, I murmured, thinking of my failed attempts to draw anything more complex than stick figures.
That was because you were limited by an imperfect world, Jesus replied. Here, your hands will create what your heart sees. We move to another place, a vast library larger than any structure I had ever

seen. But instead of books, luminous spheres floated on the shelves. People touched them, and as they did, their faces lit up with instant understanding. You will be eternal learners, Jesus explained. Every question you have ever had will be answered. Every mystery will be unraveled. You will understand how the stars were made, why flowers have fragrance, and how love works. Knowledge will not be something you struggle to remember.
It will become part of who you are. Instinctively, I reached out toward one of the spheres. The moment I touched it, I understood how butterflies know which path to follow during migration. It wasn't just facts. I felt what it was like to be a butterfly, sensing magnetic fields and following ancestral roots across the sky. It was the most extraordinary experience I had ever had. And there is more, Jesus said.
Suddenly, we were in a place that seemed like a combination of a concert hall and a cathedral. The ceiling was so high I couldn't see the top. And the music, oh, the music didn't come only from instruments. It came from everything. The walls sang. The very air carried a melody. Thousands of people were part of this celestial symphony. Some played familiar instruments. Others played instruments I had never seen before.
But most simply sang, and their voices merged into a sound that made any song I had ever loved on earth seem insignificant. You will be musicians, Jesus said. Every voice will be perfect. Every note will contribute to the greatest song ever composed. A song of praise that never ends and never grows monotonous. I had always been self-conscious about singing. Even in church, my voice would falter on the high notes, so I usually just pretended to sing.
But there, listening to that heavenly choir, I opened my mouth, and a clear, pure note emerged. It was my voice. Yet somehow it wasn't. It was the voice I was always meant to have. We moved to another place, a vast open

space where people from every era, dressed in the clothing of different historical periods, were talking, laughing, and sharing stories like old friends. You will be friends, Jesus explained. True friendship without jealousy, competition, or fear. You will meet people from every historical period and every corner of the earth. The girl who lived in ancient Egypt will become your best friend. The farmer from medieval England will teach you things that will make you laugh for days.
Love will multiply, not divide. I watched a young woman run up to an elderly man and embrace him tightly. Somehow I knew she was meeting her great greatgrandfather who had died long before she was born. Both began to weep and speak at once, and I could feel the joy radiating from them like the warmth of a bonfire. and your family, your parents, your brother, they will be here too when their time comes.
Jesus said gently, "Your love for them will be deeper and purer than anything you felt on earth." "Besides, you will have millions of others to love. Your heart will not be divided. It will be multiplied." Then Jesus showed me something that took my breath away. We were standing on another hill, and spread out below us was an incredible city. Nothing like San Francisco or New York. It was made of materials that seemed to glow from within.
The buildings weren't merely functional. They were works of art. And everywhere, people were working together on projects that seemed impossible. You will be builders. Jesus spoke not only of buildings, but of entire worlds. They would create entire realms of beauty for others to explore, singing mountains, rivers that painted pictures as they flowed, and forests where every tree told a story. I watched a group of people working together to build what looked like a bridge made of light.
They used no tools. They shaped the light with their hands as if it were clay. And when they finished, the bridge didn't just span a valley. It created its own rainbow as people walked across it. Can we do that? I asked in disbelief. You will be able to do things that are impossible on earth. Jesus replied, matter will obey your will when your will is aligned with love. Finally,
Chapter 7: The gift of rest
Jesus led me to a quiet meadow where people sat in small groups, some alone, all wearing expressions of deep peace. They did nothing that seemed productive. They simply sat, thought, and rested. You will be contemplatives, he explained. You will have eternity to think deeply, meditate on truth, and simply exist without haste, deadlines, or stress, enjoying perfect peace whenever you need it. I sat on the soft grass and felt an incredible calm wash over me.
All the worries I had carried about money, my work cases, the children I couldn't help enough. My wavering faith simply vanished. For the first time in years, my mind was completely still. So, this is what rest really means, I whispered. Jesus sat beside me on the grass. Rest isn't just sleeping, Lisa. It's being exactly where you're meant to be. doing exactly what you were created to do. Without the fear that it might one day end, we sat there for what felt like ours.
Though time seemed different in that place. Finally, Jesus turned to me with eyes full of love and something that looked like sadness. "You need to go back now," he said gently.
Chapter 8: The return to life
"No." The word escaped before I could hold it back. "Please, I don't want to go back. It's so beautiful here, so peaceful. I don't want to worry about bills again. I don't want to feel inadequate at work anymore. I don't want to struggle with my faith anymore. Jesus took my hand. Lisa, there are people who still need you. Children who need your help. There is important work that only you can do. Your journey on earth isn't over.
But I'm not strong enough. I whispered. I can barely get through many days. You won't be doing it alone. He said, "Everything you've seen here, all this joy, all this peace, you can take pieces of it back with you. When you feel overwhelmed at work, remember this meadow where your mind was quiet. When you doubt the purpose of your struggles, remember the city you will help build one day. When you feel lonely, remember the friendships that await you.
I knew he was right, but still it was how to lose everything. I'll remember all of this, every detail." He smiled just enough to keep hope alive. And one day when your true work is done, you'll come back here for good. This isn't goodbye, Lisa. It's just see you later. Before I could say anything else, everything began to fade. The meadow, the city, the music. Everything grew fainter and fainter until I was back in that tunnel of light, moving away from the sky and toward what?
Pain. That's what I'd come back to. Pain in my head, pain in my body. Bright lights hurting my eyes. Someone was shouting words I didn't understand. Machines were beeping all around me. I tried to move, but my body felt like it weighed a ton. She's coming back. Someone shouted, "We're getting vital signs." I opened my eyes and saw a paramedic's worried face. I was in an ambulance, speeding through the streets with the sirens blurring.
My head throbbed where I'd hit it. My throat was dry and scratchy. Lisa, can you hear me? The paramedic asked. You were brain dead for nearly 7 minutes. It's a miracle you're back. 7 minutes. I had been

clinically dead for 7 minutes. Yet in that time, I had lived an eternity in heaven. At the hospital, the doctors ran test after test. The neurologist said the head trauma had been severe enough to cause brain death. Yet, my results came back surprisingly normal. They couldn't explain how I had escaped permanent brain damage. The neurosurgeon kept shaking his head, saying he had never seen anything like it.
"It's a miracle," he finally said. "You shouldn't be here talking to me right now, but I was, and I knew why. In the weeks that followed, everything changed. Not my external circumstances. I still struggled to pay rent, still handled difficult cases at work, and still had days when my faith felt fragile. But I changed when I felt overwhelmed by cases involving traumatized children. I would remember that heavenly meadow and find peace.
When world news seemed too bleak, I would think of the shining city I'd one day help build and find hope. When I felt lonely, I would remember the eternal friendships awaiting me and find the strength to forge deeper connections here. I began devoting more time to my small backyard garden. And sometimes when I'm alone watering the plants, I swear I can hear them whispering melodies. I started painting something I had never attempted before.
I'm no gallery artist, but every brush stroke connects me to that heavenly art room I saw. I began telling people what I had seen. Some believed me, others didn't. But I keep talking because Jesus was right. There are people who need to know. People afraid of death. People who think this life is all there is. people who can't imagine being truly happy. I want you to know that heaven is real. It isn't a tedious place where you sit on clouds and play the harp all day.
It is the most exciting, creative, and joyful place imaginable. You will garden, create, learn, sing, build, and rest. You will have perfect relationships with the people you love. You will be everything you are meant to be, free from the limitations of this broken world. But here is the most important thing. Jesus showed me you don't have to wait until you die to start experiencing glimpses of heaven every time you create something beautiful, learn something new, love someone without expecting anything in return, or find true peace amidst the chaos that is heaven breaking through the barriers and spilling into our reality.
Your life here matters. The love you give matters. The beauty you create matters and the people you help matter. All of this is preparation for the incredible adventure that awaits you. So do not be afraid and do not give up. Heaven is more wonderful than you can imagine. And you will love being there. But until then, bring as much of heaven to earth as you can. Believe me, it changes everything. What an incredible transformative story.
The Bible reminds us in John 14:2, "In my father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. Thank you so much, Lisa, for sharing such a profound experience with us. And to those of you who watched this far, may the blessings of the universe be upon your life. See you in the next video.
